Forgotten Harvest
We are partnering with Forgotten Harvest in metro Detroit with the goal of providing meals for our neighbors in need. From the day of launch we have provided two meals through Forgotten Harvest for every bag of granola sold. As we grow, that amount will grow as well. Basically, with every purchase our customers become benefactors.
The mission of Forgotten Harvest is to relieve hunger in the Detroit metropolitan community by rescuing surplus, prepared and perishable food and donating it to emergency food providers.
Forgotten Harvest has received a 4 star rating from Charity Navigator!

Coffee Beanery Cafe - Wixom
Diane Winkelmann, owner of the Coffee Beanery Cafe in Wixom, adds her own twist to the company’s “Coffee People Who Care” slogan. Aside from involvement in her local community, which is a huge key to franchisee success, she is committed to carrying a nice assortment of Michigan-made products in her Coffee Beanery. Upon entering her cozy café, one is attracted to the assortment of products which range from eclectic to unique, and Diane is a vocal cheerleader for all things Michigan. None of her customers are strangers; she knows them all and is quick to pitch the local origin of her store and products (Coffee Beanery is a Michigan-based company, with headquarters in Flushing, just outside of Flint.) A key to her success is her commitment to the local economy and helping other Michigan vendors by carrying their products.
